The VA benefits system is deliberately fragmented. Federal benefits live on VA.gov. State benefits are buried across 50 different agency websites — each with their own eligibility rules, their own application forms, their own buried pages that look like they have not been updated since 2003.

No single tool connects a veteran's disability rating to a complete picture of everything they have actually earned. That means billions of dollars in benefits go unclaimed every year — not because veterans do not deserve them, but because nobody told them, and nobody built the tool that should have existed decades ago.

I built RatedVets.org to fix that. I am a veteran with a service-connected disability. I went through the same frustrating process of discovering — often years late — that I was leaving benefits on the table. I did not want that for my brothers and sisters.

So I built the tool I wished existed when I got out.
